John Barragan is a dynamic agent with California expertise, expansive knowledge of regional markets, and personal experience in successful real estate investing. He has represented properties from Playa Vista north to Cloverdale. He is native to Sebastopol and became fascinated by real estate at a young age. Local know-how is invaluable as you navigate your biggest financial decisions and John recognizes that. His lifelong career in sales has built relationships far and wide. At 21, John attained his real estate license. By his mid 20’s he was representing dairy sales for Miller’s Dairy and later purchased a distributorship with Clover Stornetta Farms. His routes quickly expanded from Rohnert Park to include Healdsburg, Windsor and Geyserville; eventually totaling 113 accounts which he serviced throughout the North Bay. Career success provided him the opportunity to invest in the local community and in 2002 he purchased 12 condominiums in Rohnert Park which he remodeled and managed for 15 years. Firsthand, he acquired an understanding of the foresight needed to recognize a good return on investment and the vision to recognize opportunity.

In 2006, John received his Real Estate Appraisals License and expanded his offerings to clients. John’s infectious zest for life has led him in many directions, however every path has built connections and a value for community. Being bilingual, John has a great sense of humor that can be shared in English or Spanish. Since 2013, John has represented the real estate objectives of clients in The Palisades, Santa Monica, and Playa Vista. Recently, he joined the team at Vanguard Properties in the Barlow Center of Sebastopol, an office with unparalleled knowledge of West County living. John is enthusiastic to lend his expertise to clients and assist in finding their place in the communities he treasures.
